Many people think of dementia as a diagnosis of decline. But Dementia Together believes in something more powerful: that life doesn't end when dementia begins—and joy doesn't have to either. They were already cultivating community, building resilience, and helping caregivers and care partners reimagine what’s possible. What they needed was a brand that didn’t just explain what they do—but embodied how it feels to be seen, supported, and not alone.

summary
This wasn’t a rebrand. It was a rally point. As head of strategy at a previous firm, our founder helped lead Dementia Together through a complete transformation—from a quiet, community-based nonprofit into a growing movement with a clear voice and national reach. But more than that, I had the honor of helping tell a story that deeply matters: that joy is still possible, that connection still counts, and that people living with dementia are still whole. We developed a brand platform that made this belief visible. A new name that invites. A visual system that comforts. A voice that speaks human, not clinical. The brand didn’t just change how they showed up—it gave them the confidence and clarity to grow, teach, partner, and scale. And today, that story continues. Our founder, Ben Aaker, serves as Vice President of their board, helping shape strategy, awareness, and impact as we work together to build a world where no one has to walk the dementia journey alone.
